This 2001 Zodiac Cherokee RIB is in excellent condition. It has been used carefully and painstakingly maintained. The motor has been carefully tuned and cared for (all receipts provided). The boat has been stored covered when not in use, and pontoons and fiberglass have been maintained with UV protectant spray at all times. Leg oil has been changed and carburetors have been fogged before every winter storage.
Motor is a 2006 Yamaha 60h 2-stroke in MINT condition. Always flushed, always winterized, regularly maintained. This motor is great on fuel and features automatic oil-injection….no more mixing gas! Motor is wired with overheat and low-oil warning alarms. Power tilt and trim from throttle or motor. Included are trim fins and a new stainless steel prop. On most days I can cruise with two passengers + gear at just over half throttle. Full throttle just flies!
This boat is very seaworthy, I have taken it 25 miles offshore on good days and it handles well in big seas. The 4-chamber pontoons make it extremely stable and completely unsinkable.
The unique square-nose design deflects spray in choppy conditions and also opens up a much larger area of deck for passengers, gear, traps, etc…
The stepped V hull planes effortlessly even through heavy chop, but also holds well in big swells for a secure stable ride. Keel is lined with a tough rubber landing strip along the length to protect the hull.
