Todd,

Has any of your clients used the Willard for Eco tours/dolphin tours/ or any other type of passenger work? I'm ex Navy and fell in love with this boat in 1996 on my first boat ops off the USS Russell. I've been following you on YouTube for a while. You seem to love your work and are a dedicated professional. I live in Clearwater, Florida and am looking to make a purchase in the future. I would think this Willard model would be easy to get inspected and passed by the USCG for passenger work. I was thinking at least 6 seats up forward....maybe jockey style. I know the boat is rated for 18, but that seems kind of a lot for civilian use. Any feedback would be great. Keep up the great work.

As lifeboats, they're propped with a 19 in pitch prop to handle 18 people. Top speed ~26 knots. With a 17 1/4 x 23 and 4 people, 31 knots. Todd has seen 35.6 knots with a 17 1/4 x 24 trimmed out perfectly is flat water. Not super speedy, but you're dealing with a diesel that runs 2600-2800 rpm WOT.
