2011 22 ft Harpoon wide-body RIB, 130 E-Tech, San Diego, $39,500
We just launched this extra-wide 22’ RIB with lots of seating and storage and it’s fully outfitted with GPS, stereo, ski tow pole, powder-coated aluminum arch, 80-gallon stainless-steel below-deck fuel tank, built-in stainless steel swim ladder, and galvanized trailer with brakes. This boat is like new and ready-to-go for diving, skiing/tubing, fishing, adventure joy riding, Catalina crossings, Colorado River, Lake Powell, or wherever trips.
The tubes are built of UV-resistant PVC fabric with 5 independent air chambers and relief valves. Its fiberglass moderate deep-V hull provides a nice compromise of being tough enough to wave jump (see photos of the same model boat jumping in Australia!) yet flat enough for higher planning speed: 46 knots. The Evinrude new-generation two-stroke E-tech engine has more “out of the hole torque”, burns cleaner, and runs smoother/quieter than Yamaha or Honda outboards. Both the boat and engine have just-started, transferrable, extensive 5-year warranties.
