2012 Zodiac Yachtline 380 DL Davy Jones edition
This was a beautiful like new 2012 Zodiac Yachtline 380 DL with 10 hours on it. While being towed from Catalina it flipped; that's when the fun stopped.
It was righted quickly and is definitely salvageable. The outboard turns freely and has been ran briefly since the debacle. There are no signs of water in the combustion chamber or gear case, and the oil has been changed and was not milky. The engine does show signs of corrosion and will need a new distribution block and starter. It's a 50 hp fuel injected four stroke; worth $1,500 to $2,000 in parts alone. I ordered a different cowl on Ebay that is not shown in the pictures and it is included with boat. Aftermarket starters sell knew on Ebay for $150.
The inflatable boat is still in great shape. The tubes are a perfect 9 out of 10, have no patches and hold air great. I'm pretty sure its a PVC tube set.
Some guy with too much money and very little boating experience paid over $20,000 for the boat and they sell used for $12,000 to $14,000 in good condition.
