Checking in... I haven't had it in the water yet other than a short test ride with the OP in the Sacramento river. It won't idle without dieing but I think it's a simple carb issue. Either adjusting the throttle stop screw or (more likely) the idle jet. It runs great at WOT. A couple places I need to patch gelcoat on the hull, but all cosmetic.

The OP has a really nice Hurricane 533 project that could be finished in a week or two that he'd let go for a song. It looked like a really solid RIB to me with 2 sets of tubes.

Hey there you are lol. You picked up a nice one! Can't go wrong with a Hurricane. I love the way they look and ride with the full console and leaning bolster.

You should be able to get that idling fine. Post up some updates when you get it out on the water, its good to see that rib off the market and put to good use!
