Avon SR4 for sale. Fully restored and tested 1x since restoration.
1987 Deluxe Model Spent most of it's life deflated in a garage. Little sign of UV wear. I converted it to Rescue layout.
Hull- Like new with Interlux Epoxy Paint System. White Perfection on deck with White VC epoxy on bottom. All previous hardware fittings and wear was repaired with west system epoxy. Foam was inspected
for moisture and checked out DRY.
Tubes- Very good condition. Grey with Black strake + black rubber safety line Hand-holds. No through-tube holes, patches over several scuffed areas for protection. I believe the scuffs were from transportation while it wasn't in use. No Tube paint. Hypalon is Dupont. Thick
Outboard- 2000 Tohatsu 40hp 2 stroke. Rebuilt from ground up. The motor did not need to be rebuilt...previous owner was a mechanic and wanted it in top condition. Light use. slight modifications during rebuild increased hp so it's really closer to a 45hp.

Console- Authentic Brand new Console from avon in military grey. not used but has some cosmetic imperfections from shipping

All fittings- 100% new hardware, gps radio, antenna, fuel lines, fuel sep, tanks, Elephant Trunk Drain, bilge pump, etc. All NEW and never used.
-2 fuel tanks, Racor water separator with shut off valves to switch between
tanks. One tank is 6.6G (under console). rear tank is smaller at 3.5 G. I have an additional 6.6 G tank for longer Range.
Gas mileage is very high- 5-10 mpg depending on how you run the boat.
-Fuel lines are USCG A1 black rubber
-Radio is Standard horizon explorer 1700 with gps, dsc calling. Antenna is Black shakespeare Galaxy
-Bilge Pump is Rule 1500 with a ULTRA Pump switch. best pump switch out there!
-Cooler seat/storage - vintage painted steel Coleman cooler with YETI tie down hardware.
-Sling Gaviota certified Hoist sling with lifting points reconfigured by Bill Lundy.
-Trailer 1989 Easy loader with new bunks. Tires could be changed but otherwise in pretty good shape.
This boat took me a year to build but I need to sell it. No expense spared or corners cut. I have over 10K into the project. It would make a great surf boat. Search + Rescue or tender. As you probably know its arguably the most seaworthy 13ft boat ever made. In addition to it's capability in big water- It's equally fun to blast around a lake.
