These boats were designed, built and priced to reach the under-funded volunteer First Responder market, but they are a great solution for the weekend boater or diver looking for a well-built, stable platform that is affordable.
Standard features include: Interlocking aluminum floorboards (bow sections are coated wood) ; aluminum stringers; protective rubstrake on sides of tubes; protective rubstrake on keel; protective rubstrake on bottom of tubes; wear patches on top of tubes; safety grab lines; 6 exterior grab/lifting handles; SS bow handle/mooring eye; SS bow tow eyes (port & starboard); 4 interior lifting rings; over-pressure relief valves (tube chambers only, not in keel); removable fiberglass bench seat with secondary seat location; cockpit drain in transom; protective motor clamp plate; 2 paddles; interior paddle retainers; hand pump, carry bags (1 hull bag + 1 floor bag) and repair kit.
NOTE: The Defender 470 & Defender 530 models do not have seats (too wide).
