Mainly because I had one of the hoses pop out of the compression fitting at the helm. I put the hose back in, tightened the fitting and its been working fine but I have been having panic attacks worrying about if it will happen again
I think it wasn't tightened properly when installed or, and more likely, maybe I stepped on the loom coming out the console and pulled it out by accident. Also, I believe using the Seastar hoses should make steering a bit easier.
