Guy down here has one, likes to drives into the beach, turn around and leave again for no reason on a regular basis.

Then he capsized it on a lumpy day in one of the bays!

If you own a private island with only beach access then its the best boat in the world, otherwise its a expensive, heavy, compromised RIB with extra systems to go wrong, IMHO

Agreed - a great idea if you have a private slipway or beach you use for launching/recovery, but failing that, a very expensive way of buying a complicated and compromised RIB!

But if I had a waterside house with private slipway I could be tempted...
