If only I'd seen this a year ago...

I'm just tire kicking here, but;

Got any pictures? What's the boat condition like?

I've noticed all of the Johnson pump-jets (both the 55s and the 30s) seem to use longshafts. Does this propulsion system need to sit a little deeper in the water than a conventional prop does? (ie. would a pump-jet on a short shaft motor cavitate like crazy when on a transom meant for a short shaft prop motor?)

How heavy is the outboard? (I'm guessing somewhere around 195 lbs).

How does the pump-jet perform compared to conventional props? Do they clog up easily if ran in weedy areas & if so, are they dfficult to unclog?

Sorry for asking so many questions - but I find the pump jets to be intriguing.

sure pics are here.
http://web.mac.com/ltalessi/iWeb/Site/zodiac.html

it planes FAST and ive been able to get it on plane with 10 passengers and 28 gallons (us) of gas

boat is in great condition, no patches, tears and it holds air for days. (after a month it will leak down some)

outboard is around 200

it hasnt held onto any weed/lillys or swamp grass

its 20" and sits right where the prop motor would
