WTB 15-18ft RIB Western US

I'm looking to buy a used 15-18ft rib near the west coast. I was originally looking for an Avon 5.4m Searider but no luck so far. I am open to all types but prefer the deep V hulls. My price range is around $7,000 for boat and motor complete or just the boat. I have cash and am a serious buyer. If you know anyone selling, please pass along my email address: rconsolini@sbcglobal.net

Thank you,
Renato

Good luck - for whatever reason Ribs of this size are extremely rare on the west coast. I've been looking for ~6mos now.

"I LOVE RIBS" had a Zodiac Hurricane 540 for sale. Super clean. I saw it at Catalina last weekend. But, he was asking double your budget. In the 7k range, you'll mostly see more of "yachty" types of ribs... Nautical, Apex, Nouvarania.

Though, if you're willing to travel, this might interest you (though it's a bit short) :

Road trip!

They're around, I think (as much as RIBs vs hard boats are around in the US); just not well advertised.

Keep an eye on Craigslist in the various metro areas; seems to be the first place most people list them.

Luck;

Google zodiac hurricane and have a thorough look through all the sites! There was a boat dealer in the southern U.S somewhere that has a ship load of navy surplus ribs and other commercial ribs. He had a 5m inboard Willard and a 472 Hurricane (15.5 feet) for sale, not bad prices if I remember correctly. That was a couple of months ago. Think there was a 472 hurricane from Kamloops B.C Canada, somewhere on this website for sale not that long ago! All the best mate!

Yea I think that was it! It had abbreviations like that in the name. Good luck. There were other larger 7.3 hurricanes and Willards on there!
