Zodiac 650 Pro Open in the SF Bay, CA

Up for sale is a 2001 Zodiac 650 Pro Open.

I got this bare hull a few months ago. Powered it with a Honda 150 (1400 hrs, one owner, serviced at a dealer, all records available).

New electrical system, battery, all wiring.
New Hydraulic steering system and steering wheel.
New fuel lines, Racor fuel filter/water sep.
Under-deck 31 gallon fuel tank.
New Honda controls, panel, gauges, harnesses.
New nav lights.
New prop.
New bench seat cushions.
Zodiac Hurricane jockey seat but I also have a standard leaning post.
Spare set of RED pvc tubes.
New Standard Horizon VHF with new antennae.
Comes with a trailer.

I splashed her today. Runs very nice. Hits 50mph and cuts through chop smoothly. I still need to clean her up, tubes look horrible from the dusty construction next door. I will post plenty more pics when I do a Farallon Islands run this week.

$16,900

Forgot to mention new Teleflex Extreme control cables too.

Here are a few pics of the bench. The white cushions are new. I have the new white back cushion too, with new brackets. New cup holders are also going in.

Motor is a 2007. I have regular service records from when it was new.

Finally got half the tube cleaned up for a decent side shot. More pics will come. Funny how a little elbow grease can make a rib look new. Took her out up the coast yesterday to Pt Reyes. Three guys with fishing gear, it ran 47 mph.

We hit some rough stuff through the potato patch and this rib handled it great. A lot smoother than my SRMN 600 because of the deeper V. I would say the ride is comparable to the SR6. Our favorite feature so far is the storage. All the poles and tons of gear fit under the deck. Next favorite feature is the self bailing deck and the splash well. We did a ton of fishing on the SRMN 600 and one complaint was how wet it got with water coming over the transom and onto the deck in rough water.

We were supposed to cook our catch but we didn't catch anything so we ended up having some seagulls for lunch.

Its a fun rib. Roomy like the Hurricane 630 I had but a lot easier to tow around because its lighter. We did another trip to the islands yesterday. I would keep this one but I have a SR7.4 project that needs my love.

Both are PVC. If no one picks this up soon I will put the red tubes on to see what it looks like.

I saw your rib wanted posting. What's your price range? I run into a lot of used ribs and can let you know if I find something that fits you.

I found a cooler that fits perfectly under the bench. I will probably pick one up in white to go along with the boat.

Took the RIB out again yesterday for a late afternoon solo run to the Islands. I hit the bar at the wrong time and ran into some breaking waves through the potato patch. Took several waves over the bow but the boat handled it just fine. I don't think anyone would purposely be out in that sort of water, but with the jockey seat, you feel secure behind the console when getting tossed around. If I were to swap it with the leaning post, I would probably do some sort of antislip on the deck.

Outside past the bar it was nice and calm with just a little fun swell. I picked up dinner on some structure off the North Islands and Middle Island then flew back home. So far, since rigging it all up a few weeks ago, I put 40 hours and 300+ miles on this setup with zero issues. Oil is clean and oil level is unchanged.

54 quart Igloo. That's what comes standard if memory serves.

I'll double check my files on Monday.

Thanks! And thanks again for the help with the windshield and cushions.

The RIB just sold this morning.

I didn't want to let it go but I thinks its time that I put RIBs behind me and move on. Just kidding, its time to dump some funds into the SR7.4 project, log onto Defender and go on a shopping spree.
