Zodiac G470's arrived. Pics and final price set at $3,995.00

The Zodiac G470's that we were waiting for finally arrived from Zodiac's warehouse and they look good. Several RIBnet forum members here contacted me and asked me to post pics when I had them, so here they are.

I came to a final agreement with Zodiac on a price and will be offering these to the public at only $3,995.00. They are 2008 boats. They are brand new, but this special deal from Zodiac included no warranty on the product. Just like buying a used boat off E-Bay or Craig's List.....but these have never been used.

Being sold "as is" at a super-low price. Give me a shout if you are interested.

Am I right in thinking the difference between the G470 and the FC470 is that the G doesn't have an aluminium floor?

G470 vs FC470

Hi Martini,

Not really, because there is a version of the FC470 (Zodiac #Z80229, FC470 HP EVO-7) that has the high pressure air floor.

The biggest difference between the two models is that the F series is made with Hypalon fabric and the G series uses PVC fabric.

There are some other minor variances, but that is the biggest factor.

Feel free to write me or to call me directly if you have any other questions or need more info.

A G-470 weighs approximately half of what an FC-470 weighs (176 lbs vs. 332 lbs). Obviously the G-470 won't be as durable as an FC-470, but for anyone needing a boat with a tremendous payload capacity that can be rapidly deployed and folds into a small package that weighs very little (eg. need to be able to transport it by small aircraft such as a floatplane), the G470 would be ideal.

That is an absolutely incredible price!!!

I've been after an FC470 at a good price for ages, these seem pretty good also but I'm not sure. Don't think I'll benefit from light weight and folded size, I'd probably just keep it on a trailer.

mmm decisions

I think shipping to UK would be expensive as well

Hi Stephen,

Very interested but need to check regarding shipping costs - I'm from the UK but based in Thailand. Can you arrange international shipping, get a quote for both shipping to UK and Thailand? Not sure which would be more straight forward/ cheaper (From the UK I could get it on a container out here with some work items).

The boat will be used in Thailand and if shipping isn't too expensive/ too much trouble could well be interested in some bulk orders. The inflatable market here consists of poorly made local products or cheap Chinese/ Korean made imports. Zodiacs/ Avons and similar would be easy to sell on here to the expat market.

I am also interested in the FC470/ 530 - do you have any stock of these/ any possibility for future stock? Would be interested to know the prices...

Many thanks,

Jon

Zodiac G470 HPP $3,995.00. Factory approved a 1-year warranty now.

First were to be sold without a warranty, but Zodiac reconsidered and is now extending a one year warranty on these clearance G470 HPP boats.
