This 1992 Zodiac needs a little love and attention. It has a solid hull but needs new tubes and repower. It comes with a trailer and is waiting for you! We restored one already so the pictures show what it is and what it could be.

What kind of power does this boat take/require? (what's in there now)
What diameter are the tubes?
Trailer included??

Yes the trailer comes with the boat,the tubes are 20" and the boat is rated at 150 HP.It has a Volvo diesel now.We have the same boat with a 200HP outboard.

Get rid of the hurtin' diesel inboard, that 640 will run great on a single Honda 130hp 4-stroke outboard and will scoot with a 150.

I put a 225hp 2-stroke outboard on the first 640 that I rebuilt and it was way too fast, something like 48 knots.

Is the Volvo diesel salvageable?

It looks like the water got in the bottom end,from sitting.We have the engine and out drive from the one we put the outboard on,but it's in the same shape.

There is another guy in Roslyn selling one. How are all these boats ending up 85 miles from the nearest saltwater? In any case, if you have these still, I would like to come check them out - please post a contact number or get your CL ad back up...
