I can certainly agree with those statements. We bought and built this boat as a recreational family boat to serve us in a very windy environment; the Columbia River Gorge. This is a freshwater boat. I have not found a better 18' rough water boat. The SeaRiders have a lot of deadrise- 27 degrees. They are designed for rough sea states and work very well in flat water too. When I bought this boat from Annapolis Inflatable boats in 2015, it had been sitting in their show room for four years. The boat came with a console and a bolster seat- uninstalled. I'm good for a boat project, 10 years doing yacht refits in Seattle, and the last 23 as a pro sailor in the Americas Cup and professional offshore sailing. I've seen how to properly build a boat and was happy to apply all that knowledge into my boat. The boat is in pristine condition and I have many more photos available.
