Bearing Buddy
I've been given a set of bearing buddy's. But I haven't a clue how they are fitted or even what the hell they do. one has cuts on the sides, one of which goes all the way to the edge though.
Any instruction would be great.

http://www.bearingbuddy.com/installation.html
easy to fit and keep pressure on the grease to avoid water/sea entering the hub

Thanks Bogib,
looks like the person who gave me them are as clueless about bearing buddy as I am. These are like a soft rubber cap

JSP, I think you have the Bearing Buddy Protectors (soft vinyl cap that keeps the grease nipple clean) rather than the Bearing Buddy itself.
The Bearing buddy is a machined aluminum cylinder with a spring loaded cap containing a grease fitting.

Anyone know of a good place to buy four bearing buddies at a competitive price? New boat and trailer coming in March - want to look after them!!!
Also, what are thoughts on the flushing kits for braked hubs? Are they worth the expense? Where can I get them?
