Sounds unusual, as an L44643 is usually a bearing cone number, rather than a race/cup. Not to say it's not possible though!
I'll have a look through some of bearing lists. Did you manage to measure them?
Dan - I don't get involved with tyres I'm afraid, there's so many people who do them, locally to me, that I just go to one of them if I need any. Sorry.

Thanks for your continued help with this No worries re the tyres, will get local....just grateful for your assistance.....
It looks like the rush to get these has eased a bit as think we will be collecting after the 12th April The CRD has thrown itself into limp mode and won't clear and the LPG one is away working this weekend..... perfect timing! Hopefully just gearbox ECU.....will be borroiwng one in next couple of days....if it throws up same issue its the box....
That said, still need to get bearings sorted asap /get them ordered with you so we can take them up sonn after the 12th AND..... Chewy is off on Monday, so no more info available from his end after that.... Any joy with the lists? Thanks again both

I'll take a photo of what has what number on as I have a rough idea of what your on about but would rather post a pic so you can see.

No sweat Dan.
Chewy - hope I'm not teaching you to suck eggs (apologies if I am), but I've labelled up some pics, so we're both singing from the same hymn sheet!
If they're the bearings I'm thinking of then the numbers should be as I've posted up prior. i.e.:
Inner cone: L44643L (seal attached)
Inner cup: L44610
Outer cone: L44643
Inner cup: L44610
If they're something different, let me know and I'll see what I've got for you. By the way, I went through all my bearing lists and I couldn't see any bearings with cone and cup numbers that started with the same first three digits.
All the best

I can sort when I get up there if you like, but if no hassle, would be daft to turn you down....

Drop a hub off (take out split pin, undo castellated nut, remove thrust washer) then take the hub off. Clean the bearings off with a rag and some cleaner / petrol / WD40 and then check the numbers on the bearing's cones against the above. If they match then the cups will too.
All the best.

Courageous - I like to keep 'em guessing, you know me! lol
Sorry to hear about your trailer. After all that running around too. You're right, you couldn't make it up!
Chewy - I'm jealous. I'm only an 'A' myself
WiLlfish - doubtless you're right, but we won't give up without a fight
Dan - PM me the address you want them sent to. I'll stick the ones I think they are in the post. If they're right drop me a cheque in the post, if they're wrong send 'em back when you can.
All the best

hmmm... bigger hammer?...
how about i just send some hubs up instead, with bearing races already installed and a new set of bearing cones?
measure your wheel pcd (reckon 4" / 101.6mm), to make sure i send the right ones.

Thank you!
Well,
the Atlantic made it back in one piece..... A big thanks to Ben (Trailer Guy) for all his help and sending through the (all correct ) bits.... Ben, I've just tried to do phone transf. but banking closed for the night, will sort in morning
Big thanks to Chewy too, good to see you mate... shame we didn't get time for a pint! Would like to have had more time for a nosey about too.... Whitby looked great in the sunshine and heading over the Moors home was a good call.....
Don't forsee us making a proper start on her until late Summer, but might sort the Gel and glass the deck on before then if we get chance.....have the materials kicking about so we'll see...
Thanks both
