Needs to be legal on cumbrae! half the cars weren't taxed untill the police had a purge a while ago[emoji1787][emoji1787]. As long as it looks reasonable I doubt you'll get bothered over there. If you build one you can simply declare its a refurbished used trailer built pre 1992 which means it doesnt need a vin no or chassis tag. Nothing wrong with owning a pre 92 triggers broom trailer & saves the agro of an sva which usually isn't worth it.
I tend to agree a rib would be a better option if its staying on a trailer

]Chipko that looks good for getting across the sand and easy to pull along
Saw this on ebay , I would buy it in a heartbeat if closer or if I could piggyback it on my trailer

Hi Steve , I bought the 365 Volante with a 8 hp Orca engine , been out once so far and it handled the rather rough sea very well , fog came down , had navtronics to get back , and it was raining but had a great day out fishing

I think they are a great piece of kit (obviously biased)
What colour did you go for?

My SD360 "Redneck" is more of an orange colour now. It still looks red on the videos, but it's definitely bleached in the 3 years since new.
I'd advise getting some Aerospace Protectant 303 and as you are storing it outside a good UV cover that covers it completely.

Bought a great cover but will store it in a big shed if not using it for a month or so , will have a think about protection later in the year once used a few more times to keep it looking

The title of the thread gives you a clue "New Excel Website and SIBs" , that's what I asked about.

Sometimes threads drift. I promise to try not to ever attempt to hijack one of Steve's threads for fear of being chastised again

Point taken. However the thread wasn't hijacked, I asked the OP a direct question which pertained to him.

When I saw the pictures of chipko's "Dune Buggy" trolley I thought it would be something like the ideal solution for you.
Next time I'm launching from Largs (sadly not this year) I'll PM you and perhaps we could met up.

If it were me I always want my transom wheels with me. You never know when you want to pull ashore on a beach for a stop. Without them it can be near impossible to drag a heavier boat up the beach. Plus with the depth of transom wheels my prop couldn't hit the bottom, so I could power up to the beach. Having a front cart, I considered it a pain and rarely used it, and only when having to traverse a longer distance at remote beaches for launching. Not only does the cart have to be stored at home and during transport, it must be put somewhere after launching. Is theft a problem?
The wheels were mostly outside the boat and never bothered me. In fact in rough seas while standing I would often lean against them, while gearing up to go diving.
If you want design ideas for a beach cart look at photos for PWC carts. They often come apart (Which is one more process pre, and post launch). I watched the local lifeguards dealing with a PWC launched over a beach and what a production it was. They knew what they were doing working as a team, and it took them awhile.

Young wife keeps me fit!
Off to climb a tree and cut a few errant branches, all the while keeping in shape doing pull ups, sit/stand, and odd contortions.
