Just to drag this one back into the public eye-it appears that a certain Cliff Neale (or CAN trailers) is STILL ripping people off..

Take a read of THIS.

you get what you pay for , the old adage is true, i have been looking for a trailer for our old avon squidgy, everything worth having is well overpriced so i bought an axle and some steel and set about making one, compared to those can rubbish my home made effort looks comparable in strength to the forth road bridge,
just having a little trouble with bunk design and nose weight this is my first trailer build so it is takeing some thought to get it right, finding wheels to get the chassis low enough to launch easily is a pain the axle is on 13 inch wheels at the mo
once the axle is welded to the chassis i will sit the boat on it to work out the height i need for the bunks , its braked as well which is probably ott for a sib but i have deliberately made it larger and stronger incase i need a bigger boat

actually I think a lot of the CAN complaints were people didn't even get that - they claim to have been defrauded out of downpayments and given no trailer at all.

I presume (or hope) that you have mixed up your bridges and meant to say rail bridge. the road bridge is currenlty gradually rotting and is expected to close to HGV's within the next 10 years...

The various CAN trailer threads around are certainly full of a lot of unhappy folk. Never heard of the company myself but there for the grace of god etc

I have to say that when you read all those emails from Chris the guy who set up the website to Cliff it makes me laugh. I reckon the reason he did not get his trailer is cause he had Cliff sat in front of his computer 24/7 reading fecking emails.
