Cheap Led Lighting Board

Just a heads up on this one.

I needed a new lighting board and wanted to go led as I'm forever changing lamps.

Came across this which is the cheapest I could find by a long way:-

I fitted led (not submersible) lamps to my existing bird for less and less plastic waste https://www.tauntontrailers.co.uk/5-...ight-727-p.asp

Needed a new board as the old one was cracked, bulbs blown and 7 pin plug held together with tape, but that aside, I don't see how 2 x Led lighting squares @ £10 each and a Led fog light at £5 and £7 for delivery works out cheaper, as that works out to a total of £32.

Fog light was no issue, not sure I ever put fog lights on while towing anyway….and I was ordering bearings etc so postage was covered (usually I would collect when passing) I’m sure you will find similar cheaper elsewhere but service has always been good and I hire a trailer from there from time to time to do tip runs for the in-laws

Understand where your coming from.

Just thought I'd put it out there for anyone who needed a new lighting board as I did at a good price.

Lighting board delivered this morning.

Impressed with the quality. Lights are very bright and the plastic board is far stronger than my old one, but I do wish they would glue/ silicone the end caps on.

After wiring the Trailer with then costly "waterproof" Top notch L.E.D lights when they first came out for speed and ease of use....soon found out they are not as "bullet proof" as some say
If you use your RIB (and Trailer!) ALOT it's only a matter of time before your integral wired up one fails after lots of Dunking.
IME anyway .....and your soon back trying to buying a cheap get you home legally and safely set anywhere you can...especially after a long day ...at night.
I've gone the middle route and must say the L.E.D lighting boards are very good and if you leave the very cheapest option they represent good reliability and value for money.
I've used a set for 4 seasons now and so far so good
