When we go to races, there is a crane for the race boats anyway, but for testing etc, the built in crane no problem, just park up next to a quay or even on the side of a slipway and drop it over the side. Always attracts a crowd in Salcombe!
The added advantage is having the crane to use when boat building - lots of uses!
