good source of 'square' u bolts?

Folks,

I have a rollercoaster trailer with u bolts that look past their best. I'm spending a bit of time (and money!) getting the boat re-jigged with a new console etc and figure that I ought to sort out the trailer at the same time.

However.... the only place I can seem to track down the right size u bolts in on the indespension website, and they cost about £7.50 each. Others seem to cost about a 1/3 of that, but not in exactly the right size.

I just feel like the indespension price is a bit high and that there must be somewhere else to get these? Roughly M10 x 40mm x 150mm (internal sizes). Any suggestions?

thanks for the suggestions. I think I'd checked at least one of those. Problem seems to be that you'll get a 40mm wide bolt up to about 115mm long easily enough, but the trailer's fitted with 40 x 155s.

In the context of all that I'm doing to the boat, 4 bolts at 7 quid or so isn't a big deal, it's just the principle behind it, and the feeling that someone, somewhere must be doing these cheaper and as soon as it's for 'marine' use or a 'boat trailer' the price climbs.

As I say though, thanks for the suggestions. Maybe I should email them and see if they have non-standard stuff that's not on their website.

Cheers
Donald

The guys at Trailertec helped me out with all the U-Bolts I needed for my Rollercoaster at about 1/2 the price of Indespension.

They are really friendly, helpful, and know their stuff.

Nasher.

Is that not part number RLR124 on TrailerTek's website:

Quote:
U Bolt and clamp assembly 40x115 + 40mm
I assume that is 115mm unthreaded + 40mm threaded = 155mm? I'd check with them though.

Cheers
