Help

Towing
Hi guys I want to tow my sib to anglsey about 80miles away I have a honwave
T.35 with a aluminium floor I have a new bunk trailer so that's good but
Do you need to put anything over the bunks to stop friction and what is the best way to strap it down the engine is a 4stroke so a bit heavy to leave on so am just worrying about it bouncing about and rubbing on the tubes any help would be great as am new to this and want to do things right because this hobby is not cheep

Hi gilly

I used to tow a honwave, never put anything on the bunks and never had any problems

I used ratchet straps to secure boat to trailer

I left outboard on transom but it was a 10hp 2 stroke so not too heavy, I would put outboard in car if possible

Where in Cheshire are you? Not many sibbers around here

Anglesey.....perfect location for your honwave

I'm around Ellesmere Port a lot, sales rep with lots of customers around the Wirral 👍...... Do you ever launch around new Brighton, west Kirby, hoylake area?
