Isuzu D Max

After 7 years of running Discoveries as my tow vehicle for the smaller boats, I have just picked up my new Isuzu D Max Yukon. I choose it as one of the few pickups with a 3500kg towing capacity. So far I am very pleased with it. It is not quite as refined or luxurious as the Discos and being metal suspension the ride isn't as smooth, but it is nice to drive, absolutely massive boot and plenty of pulling power. The contact hire rate is about half what I was paying on the discoveries and the MPG seems better to.

I brought my wife the denvor max, had it from new (2007) and has never missed a beat, I had to have a new alternator fitted this year £350, but not bad for 7 years
