1993 doesnt make it a classic apart from on insurance company books. It's an old car.

Not withstanding that, I'd rather like one if the range made it practical towing. It doesn't.

Got any pictures? Its not really old enough to be a "classic" but there is a good demand for nice ones, pricing is difficult ie open ended - if it is truly a minty mint one then you'd be surprised what some might pay.

Classic is in the eye of the holder these days as since labour got in power in 97 they put froze the year of "classic" status! Previously it was circa 25 yrs old I think.

Either way, it's pretty rare and collectable and whilst not museum standard it's got VERY low miles, never been dinged and in great nick for its age. We're modernising to an old L322 3.0TDV6 I think.

Seem to be advertised between £4-10k with higher miles. Open to offers. Niche car, great for towing, rear leg room or novelty. Every time we go out someone says "wow, that's mint".

In fairness with that mileage and condition it is a pretty rare beast....( they don't usually make Old Bones unscathed!) and they do have thier Devotees ..if it were me (and from experience) I'd think about advertising it on a few specialist classic sites....despite opinions expressed, maybe starting the Owners Club website.
Upper end of You're valuation would be a good Start.

You may well be pleasantly surprised!

Awww schucks. I was going to strip it, chop the chassis, tweak the engine and create one of these with it...

One of the last LSEs before the P38 came out.

Will be something like £230 - it's from before they introduced the bands.
Choice of "small engine" or "big engine"

Hmmm, hold that thought for a few months Matt and maybe, though the old man said this morning he'd rather keep it for sub 4. Going to try the enthusiast sites first towards the top end of single figures.

Bit like the old Searider we chopped in for the Humber, we both wish we'd kept it.

For information it was Land Rover who coined the term "Range Rover Classic" for the brief period the model was built alongside its P38A successor and then applied the name retroactively to all first-generation Range Rovers there after.
