Mersea Trailers

Is their service normally poor or am I just unlucky.

I've been trying to contact them abour replacement jockely wheel / bracket and wheel bearings since April.

All e-mail are unanswered

Phone calls made to their offical number are unanswered or I'm told "someone will ring back" - they do not

Letter to their Sales Director has gone unanswered (sent 4 weeks ago).

Has anyone got a direct contact with a decision maker in the business?

LT

I think you might be unlucky - I phoned & ordered spares about 6 months ago, and they were delivered 48 hrs later.

Having said that I've always had more success with phone than email when talking to them......

If they are giving you the run around, maybe get them from somewhere else, they are most likely standard parts (bearings certainly will be, part number / size should be stamped on them)

There is some useful info on bearings and suppliers here:

http://rib.net/forum/showthread.php?...hlight=bearing

Some options for jockey wheels here:

http://www.trailertek.co.uk/acatalog/Jockey_Wheels.html

http://www.westerntowing.co.uk/acata...ls_Clamps.html

http://www.towsure.com/category/7250..._Jockey_Wheels

I have had good service from Trailertek and Western Towing.

Cheers

Chris

I contacted them once over allot of parts for a snipe trailer. Found them very helpful but it took a long time for them to get back to me.
