Milenco wheel clamp + bearing savers

Hi, do any of you have experience of using the standard Milenco wheel clamp with bearing savers? Does it fit okay? I'm considering getting one second hand but am a fair way from the boat and don't yet have the clamp to measure it/offer it up.

Not sure about the Milenco clamp but I use two different wheel clamps on my trailer, Nemisis and Bulldog.

Both of them are harder to fit with the bearing savers in place.

Plus with the Savers in place they are both spaced out enough to get a spanner in behind the clamp and undo the wheel nuts, so I've welded extra deeper sections to them to stop this being possible.

Thanks Nasher, good point about the wheel nuts, I will bear that in mind
