Mobile Trailer Repair S Devon

Does anyone know if there's a mobile trailer repair service in South Devon?

On getting the boat back to the yard at Galmpton last week from Brixham (after a cracking run up to the Exe and excellent lunch at the River Exe Cafe) I found that one of the brake cables had jammed on and the hub after only a 4 mile tow was too hot to touch.

As there may be 3 problems here: bearing damage, brake cable and brake pads I want to get this sorted before any more tows, and I don't want to do all these 3 things myself for the first time, certainly not in the boat yard miles from a supply of any spares / tools I might need.

What I also want to avoid if I can is wasting a weekend having to put the boat in the water (tide dependent) on a Fri night and onto a marina, then to drag the trailer 15 slow miles to the nearest trailer centre leaving it there for most of a Saturday then getting it back.

A mobile service would be ideal if there is one locally- is there??

I can't think of any on this side of the river but go in and see Mike at Pedro's at the entrance to the boatyard, he'll know someone.

Thanks chaps, I'll follow up on these.

I may have spotted an opportunity - there are lots of boat & general trailers / horse boxes in the area the convenience of a mobile service might make a decent business for someone.
