Yes, or I could auction the trailer on ebay UK to be collected where it is.

But, should a trailer not be tailored individually fitting to the boat? Is that possible without taking measurements on the original boat?

Sorry, I have never ordered a trailer, this is the 1st RIB of my own, I have no idea how that works.

Maybe you can have a look at the old trailer, it is this boat: Osprey Vipermax RIB 7m

But then I also need to hire a big car, my Audi A6 quattro can't tow that.

Personally I would want that boat on a twin axle trailer anyway. You buy the trailer to suit size & hull of boat & then set it up to suit. A Vanclaes 2750 would do nicely for that boat[emoji12]

Thank you. Can I suit it by myself when I pick up the boat?

Edit: Or I could buy that new trailer in England and bring the boat with the old trailer to the trailer dealer.

Of course before travelling, I need to get the papers of the new trailer and register it in Germany.

It should take an hour or so to get the trailer set up for the journey. Then you can tweak & adjust it when you get back to Germany. I'd buy a trailer in Germany & bring it with you. You then know you won't have any problems.

Ok, thanks again.

Do you think, the trailer should provide a support for the engine? On the pictures there is no such support.

I'd agree with the advice. That boat will tow a lot better on a twin axel trailer. What you are getting is single axel and drawbar style. I think you will struggle, a lot, to get approved in germany.

Buy a german trailer and take the boat home on it.

Seeing as the boat is in North Wales, I would contact Chris Seddon at Ty Calch & ask him if he would be willing (for a fee) to do the trailer swap at his place. He has launching facilities & mechanical workshop. You could meet the seller there & swap the trailers. Chris may even know a buyer for the old trailer.

Ok, thank's, that's great!

The only thing is, that I need to find the new trailer from stock. The ebay-deal was completed 2 weeks ago, and I don't want to keep the seller waiting.

Might be, guess it depends on the trailer in question it may be a Euro spec design and needs some paperwork from manufacturer or may be scrap...

Hi Guys,

sorry, the deal is cancelled. Other than confirmed, the boat has no EU-VAT-proof.

Thank's anyway for what I learned about UK trailers.

Hope I find an other British style RIB.
