Potential sale
Hi all, I am potentially selling our boat trailer, it's a 1900kg single axle braked trailer made my extreme marine, it's about a year old and been trailed once from Chichester to Poole by trailer guy, was then used about three times to launch at the club we kept it, then towed back to Winchester and stored ever since, what sort of price would I be looking at?

Bearing in mind what we can by a brand new one for and assuming everything on it works, I see it at about £1,000.

Having spent months looking for a good second hand trailer that sort of age and spec I'd say it's worth a fair bit more than that, somewhere between "£1400 & £1800.....

I thought you Scots were supposed to be a "canny" lot
For clarification, all I was saying is that from my prospective, I can buy a brand new one for not much more than £2K (once I've reclaimed the VAT), so it would be marginal to want to pay say £1,400 for a used one.
Others will have a different and equally valid perspective.
Steve

Would it not be better to relist this as a trailer for sale as I probably would pass it by if I was looking for a trailer with the header you have and I'd imagine others would too
