Rapide Twin to Single Axle Conversion?

My trailer is currently set up as a twin axle which really is overkill. A brand new single axle is about the same price as the parts to service both axles.

However, the twin axle mudguards look to be attached together, does anyone know if single mudguards are still available?

SBS trailers do a good range of spares, there is a good online shop to find what you are after, but I always ring them as they usually will do a better price over the phone. they do a good range of axles too

Mersea took over Bramber, they show the main part, may be worth a phone call as they have a step at each end and can stand on the top.

Yep, those are the ones that I have on my trailer, stand ons, only in my case they are for 13" wheels. Bought a new one from Mersea 2-3 years ago, I do not know whether the 13" version is still available. Worth giving them a call, sometimes the delivery times can surprise

When a bearing collapses or a tyre shreds you'll be wishing you'd kept the 4 wheeler.
