SIB & Outboard Trailering ?

I have a Honwave 3.50 and 20hp Honda 4 Stroke outboard.
I have a dinghy type trailer with 3 "wedges" up through the middle supporting the inflatable keel and 2 rollers at the back however, the stern of the craft overhangs by around 18".
My question is, would it be brutal on the transom to tow 3 miles from campsite to launch site on my fortnights holiday as I wish to use the boat every day >
Thoughts please ?

Personally I wouldn't with an overhang like that.
Can you not moor it or put the outboard in the car?

Currently carry the outboard in the van but, wondered if it was doable over the short distance.
