Snipe trailer ID/approval docs mod R21-2600 WANTED!!!

Hey
I bought last summer from Ireland Tornado rib MP 7.5 2005 with snipe trailer
R21-2600 twin axel with brakes(year modell abt 2005-2006)
In Finland we boatowners have to register trailer, we cant tow them with cars
Plates and insurance, so now authorities asks me to show snipe's load capability etc. So I need papers which I didnt receive from seller,

So, is there anyone how has same type of trailer and has the original document
from Snipe company, where Are shown as legally that this trailer is really offically factorymade and reliable to carry Tornados weight,

Please, I do really need copy of that kind of documents, thanks for that person!
How can send my a copy!
My emali is samu.ilmarinen@gmail.com

Modell plates:
Modell R21-2600
Charge utilise 2000kg
Poids totale 2600kg

Snipe

Try looking on their website Snipe Trailers and Cradles or give them a call, I am sure they would be able to help.

Hey
Thnx!
I have send several emails, poroblem is company fusion, Mersea trailers aquired the trading name of Snipe trailers. The range of Snipe trailers is now being manufactured at the Colchester Factory. During this episode Mersea lost all the facts of old production, this is what they told me!

I have made such a big adventure thru internet wiht no results!

Only way is someone has old papers of R21 trailer,

By the way, what is DVLA?

Thank you seaflyer anyway!

DVLA = Driver & Vehicle Licencing Agency, but they won't be able to help you as trailers upto 3500kg are not registered in the United Kingdom.

To be honest, I doubt that even when the trailer was new any paperwork would have been issued for it other than the receipt as unless specially requested most manufacturers did not supply it. EU type approval for trailers (which means papers must be issued) only came in over here last year.

Sorry I can't be any more help.

Hi
Does the trailer have a manufacturers plate near the nose, with weights and limits stamped? If so, and you are not familiar with its detail, post a picture of it here.

Also, I would imagine the name of the trailer (2600) would be its gross vehicle weight, so if you can find the weight of the trailer, you will know its maximum load capability...
(2600kg - trailer weight)

Apologies if this is obvious and you have already considered it!

He already knows the weights, as they are stated in his original post. What he needs is a manufacturers certificate so that he can register the trailer with the authorities in Finland.

I have previously sold a tailer to sweeden. I produced some home grown but very official looking documentation and I believe the Swedish version of the DVLA accepted it.

Can I suggest the OP gets creative with MS word? Typing "snipe trailers" at the top and dating it 2006 seams a good start.
