Tall winch post - wanted / where from ?

Id like my winch post to be taller than it currently is. When I winch the boat onto the trailer its a bit too low, so it just pulls the bow down, not along the trailer.

It is adjustable, but even if I raise it higher up I still think it will be a bit too low down for my particular RIB.

Ideally it needs to be about 130cm high. Does anyone know where I can get the post, or the extention bit to make mine higher. The winch is fine, the snubber bar is fine - its just the extra height I need.

Ive googled and cant find anything other than sites in the US.

It's only metal. Easily doable. You will lose the galvanised bit around the welds but can be redone

like Biff says it's not beyond any good welder, then just get it regalavanised, or if you're just after buying off the shelf try the SBS Trailers website, they have a good online shop to view the various options then just give them a call and ask for Roy, he'll sort it for you 👍
