We are regular users of Tamar Towing and always found Tim and his team very helpful and competitively priced. I believe they are closed for the Christmas break, so might be worth trying them again on 3rd January.

Some vauxhalls have a plug behind the trim in the rear of the boot under the catch. Takes a plug in loom available from the dealer and goes straight to the towbar socket.
Makes it a very simple job but bit sure if this is fitted to the Astra.
