You've probably been over this but……

Any chance you can launch the boat by hand/on the tide.

Then retrieve the empty trailer and pick the boat up at a slip/easier beach?

Oh, ye of little faith (including me!)....

Low ratio, first gear, diff-lock engaged, car tyres at normal pressure*, trailer tyres almost flat, outboard off.

The traction control didn't even flicker, unlike my heart as I headed back!

Not sure I'd want to try it with a heavier boat.

* local advice was that is not usually necessary to lower the pressures but that its the trailer that'll get you - the trailer certainly made the deepest ruts!

I'm thinking of changing my signature to "Blue car. Blue boat. Brown trousers."

Not really. I unhitched the trailer, did a three-point turn in the car, put the boat on and re-hitched it.

On the way back I got my old man to walk alongside the car ready to shout if there was a problem, but to be honest I think it would have dug in too quickly for that to be any use.

Its pretty horrible small stuff - about 15 ft deep and a quarter of a mile journey in each direction. 'Orrible enough!
