Towing with our Camper Van
During Lockdown I converted our old Toyota Motiv 8 People Carrier into a Camper Van and also bought a Drive away Air Awning. The car is rated to tow 750kg Unbraked and 1650 kg Braked so my Sib and 4.5 m Rib will be no issue I think. I would only wish to attempt shallow gradient slips or on steeper ones use a Rope.
I was wondering who else amongst us tow with their Camper Vans. Some pics would be nice

With you on that. Check out Bob Flavin's reviews on the VW California. Honestly in all wheel drive it just drinks fuel, and that's without towing.
We were all set to investigate further, then I had to break the news to my wife it didn't have a shower or a toilet. £70k new before you start adding options.

You see You Tube videos of vans sliding into the water when launching a boat.
This however I assumed was because there is not enough weight on the back wheels, (they are made light on purpose to carry more weight).
A campervan has weight on the rear wheels due to the internal fittings so should be fine.
Otherwise if you feel there might be a problem use wheel chocks.
My problem is I had a camper trailer and then I bought the boat and now I have to work out a way to tow both of them.
Paddler's post is way over the top. (pun?)

Professional van conversions of any panel van are expensive. You are working inside a relatively small space whilst dealing with curved bodywork and feeding wires and plumbing past internal structure. It takes much longer than a similar spec coachbuilt van.
You can extend a smaller van using an awning and, if you are wild camping, you can overcome the lack of shower / toilet area by having a solar shower and a toilet tent that you could hang the shower in and put the porta potti in. As an aside I've got an external shower which comes into its own when dealing with sandy / muddy children.
The Transporter style vans have car like proportions, speed and driving comfort so I can see why they are popular. Whether £70k is expensive is down to the individual. Whilst it is not something I generally consider other than to justify purchases to the better half, they hold on to their value quite well so when you come to sell on in a few years time, you get a lot of the initial outlay back.
In terms of staying in a hotel, I can understand that but that assumes that there are hotels at your chosen destination. On the rare days that the wind isn't blowing the rain horizontally, the freedom offered by a motorhome is fantastic.
Apologies - no boats in the pictures. We'd put it in a marina!

Now those are big vans a lot larger than the Previa
I think a Van conversion if you do it yourself is great fun and very afordable.

Yes, I tow with my 2013 T5 4 berth camper although I am thinking of selling it if anybody is interested? It pulls perfectly even up Holden Hill near Exeter which could quite a challenge.

No photos but you'll be fine
I have a Hyundai i800 and tow my Excel 390 on a trailer and it is absolutely fine. However, did get the van stuck on the sand at the bottom on the tarmac slip down onto beach at Bigbury/Burgh Island last summer

9 years to rack up his second post and it's of a white van against a snowy background.
You need to select the paperclip, choose the file and then upload it.
