Traile for SR4
I'm looking at getting a new trailer for my SR4 as the one it came with is not up to the job of coming back up the M5 & M4 to get it home!
So I have been looking around & like the look of http://www.extreme-trailers.co.uk/page9.php & have always liked roller type so the EXT550 SUPER ROLLER is looking good to me anyone got any other ideas?

They look good.
I've got mine on an Indespension jetski trailer and it's just the job. Very similar to the Extreme ones. I've got the one with the extending drawbar but it's not needed as a searider hull is so short!
Only poor aspect is the winch post (same post on the extreme by the looks of it). When winched up there's no positive location.

Nick, have a look at http://www.gullwingtrailers.co.uk/pr-jetski.html they are aluminium and a local pwc dealer speaks very highly of them, I've got a braked one for the Rib and so far very pleased.

Whoops
I see my post may cause some confusion, Exteme trailers are Chinese Gullwings are UK and I do like the Gullwings.
Nick I'd grant you that Made in China may well stand for engineering excellence and the other side too, buy one and find out perhaps? The coment was made to let you understand why the trailer was such good value!
yeah I do have a Coaster 2 for sale, but I haven't been home for a while and it's very difficult trying to arrange things remotely!

My old SR4 was on an Indespension Jetski Bunk trailer.
PITA to launch & recover from, but that could be said for any bunk trailer on a shallow beach.......

Seriously though it means "pain in the ass".
I’ve got an Indespension roller jetski trailer (think it's a JSO5) under my SR4 easy to launch and fits in my single garage too.
There is a place on ebay selling them cheap:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=p5197.c0.m619
Hope that helps

Yep!
For what it's worth, had I not sold the SR, I was planning on moving the bunks forward & adding a swing roller assy to the back.
Other good thing about those trailers is that the "spoked" wheels are perfect to put a motorbike lock through, thus making it twice as much of a pain to steal if combined with a hitch lock.

Thanks for that I can get one for £500 from www.tamartrailercentre.co.uk which is handy as the boat is down in Salcombe & north Whales is a long way from me!

extreme
Nick,
My litle lad Jasper bought an extreme 750 trailer this week and I have to say I was impressed by it. It's as well built as the Indispensions with a much better Rollercarrier bracket.
we both still like the Gullwings but the Extreme was 60% cheaper

I bought one of the Gullwing trailers, fantastic bit of kit.
I have found recovering the Rib is made easier with the arms centering the boat.
Also as it is made of ali its lighter and wont rust, also have had no trouble with the brakes - they have a flush kit fitted as standard - just connect the hose, you can see the crap coming out of the hubs and when it runs clear they are done!
Only downside was talking to Bob from gullwing - lovely fellow but would win the Olympics for talking!!
Mike

You should have asked for Ribnet discount! Mine cost almost the same as other quotes. Been great so far. Mike

Hmm... couple of comments here lead me to believe they are now expensive, I was told prices were about to take a hike but thought it might be a bit of sales talk, however, paid £1600 for a braked roller ramp with hub flush kit & spare wheel, that was in December 09 with delivery February 2010.
