That will work but it needs a chequer plate along the length of the box section. When you come in late and have missed the tide, you get changed, go for a pint put your wellies on, go over the boot top... bla, bla, bla! It will save the winchman getting wet feet how would I know that?
Get it galvanised it will rot from the inside.

Paint it with micatious iron oxide the stuff they paint pylons with or get it galved at a later date best try it first in case any mods needed

As the man said, you can't get it done "same day", and it doesn't look hot dipped.
Galvafroid sort of works, it just means that being made of box section, it corrode from the inside out

+1. Galvafroid is sh1te & it's only purpose is for touching up small damaged areas & cut edges.

Additional prop stand lets you rescue jockey wheel when:
- it is bogged down in sand.
- facing the wrong way when you are trying move trailer by hand.
- at wrong height (eg when you can't wind it in enough to lower it onto car, having been pulled out of water with a tractor with high tow hitch).
I can't get over why trailer manufacturers don't offer this as an option.

You have some good kit there buddy so worth having it done properly as it will look pretty poor within the season, mines certainly did. I haven't actually fitted the docking poles again as they look terrible now, maybe get them somewhere to galvanise them.
My sbs trailer spare wheel drags too, seems common that trailer makers put them low. Seems silly to me though.

this looks like a very neat solution to your launching problems Mikew4, so if it works for you and makes your boating less hassle then it's worth the money, nice one
I've got 2 SBS trailers, one I've stripped right down and gad fully regalved, still looking smart after two seasons, the other one was a but too long for the SR4 so I cut a few feet off and used galvafoid to seal the cut ends, so far it still looking good, obviously it's never going to replace hot dip galvanising but from my experience if it's sprayed over newly cut metal it keeps the rust at bay
