trailer insurance again

Hi all,
I towed my rib to Oban two weeks ago a trip of 600 miles there were 9 of us and it seemed a good idea to hire a mini bus to tow it with, my problem was the bus hire firm would not cover the trailer for (third party risk) I have looked every where but cant find a policy that covers the trailer regardless of who is towing it.
Can you help?

we have plans to go again soon using the mini bus, it saves us about £400 as 9 of us would go up in 4 cars.

If the insurance is in your name and its your boat then your the first party not the third party. Ask them if it is insured for that?

No the problem is the mini bus has no (trailer third party insurance), I cant buy it just for the trailer, it's to cover say a wheel cumming off and hitting a car, the car will claim off me direct. as the hire firm has not got it covered.

You should be able to arrange your own insurance cover for the minibus which will include 3rd party towing cover as part of it. Alternatively look at hiring from a different company whose insurance does include 3rd party towing cover.
