U bolts come in all shapes & sizes, I would go back to the trailer manufacturer & buy from them, at least they (should) fit.

I dont know of anywhere in portsmouth and I do know of a decent trailer place in Christchurch called The Trailer Centre, its on Barrack Road, they carry a decent supply of trailer parts, give them a call, not too far to go.

Although not a trailer place you could try CP Fastenings on Marmion Road Southsea. they have a very wide selection of fastenings and fixings.
I have used them quite a bit over the years.

Blendworth Trailers in Havant/Horndean are a good place to get trailer spares from. They're pretty reasonably priced too - better than Indespension on that front.

loadsa U bolts on E Bay.
If you go to an Indespension shop be careful you get the right size bits.
Their catalogue seems to be a chapter of errors. Last lot of wheel bearings they supplied the wrong ones for the quoted trailer despite it being questioned at the counter. Took them back, eventually when passing, and their mechanic agreed they were wrong, but were still shown as the right ones in the book despite being advised of the problem by phone a couple of weeks earlier by myself.
Response from the staff-it happens all the time, loadsa stuff wrong in the book!

Have a look Here
Indespension are shocking, I sent an order back the other week. I'll never buy from them again.

Brings to mind a certain mod who did a good job of mimicking the Kriegsmarine years ago......

Mmm, you did say that no-one was having a go; thought the place needed livening up a tad
