I can't help directly. If your aim is insurance compliance then I can't help either. However if your aim is to stop the trailer getting nicked then when I forgot my clamp I have used a bike lock like this:

Put the cable round the trailer chasis then back through itself and place the free end through the "hole" in the wheel and fit padlock (too big to fit through the hole). Readily available in any bike shop / halfords. 1/4 of the cost of a reasonably clamp. Probably just as secure (i.e. will stop someone who doesn't have tools but only slightly delay an expert).

I carry two of those like Poly's on holiday. They're long and can thread through various parts of SIB, outboard, your vehicle and many other nearby objects.

And as Poly says a pain for the casual thief but like all devices "but the work of a moment" for the determined and equipped.

Thanks I have 2 of those round the frame and through the wheels of my car, fine until I need to use the car.....

Have ordered one of these
https://www.safe.co.uk/products/tc300-trail-clamp.html Should fit (designed for these tyre sizes)

Just hope it arrives in time
