Hello everyone, I hope this finds you well.
I picked up a Zodiac MK1 for cheap and want to rehab it before summer. The tubes, seams, and transom attachments are all in great shape. The skin floor is another story, and must be replaced.
Unfortunately the boat is missing one floor section, which I must fabricate. Also missing are two of the 'board stringers'(?) that stiffen each board and provide the hardware tie down rails. (see pics)
My questions are:
1) What kind of wood and paint should I use for the missing floorboard?
2) Where can I find the 'board stringers' I am pointing to in the picture? Does anyone know a guy sitting on a cache of old Zodiac parts?
3) Is there any guidance here on how to fabricate a new skin floor? I have a keel from another boat but need to purchase new material and cut it all to size.
4) Any other general feedback about how to get this thing up and running is much appreciated!
I have added some pics to an album here, and hope this links show them in this thread.

Thank you in advance for any guidance!
