A few dinghy photos from islands trip
Hi folks
Just posting a few photos of recent dinghy trip to islands off north uist etc
We had 9 days and visited the monach islands, pabbay, berneray, boreray, ensay, killegray, vallay, shillay and went into leverburgh on harris to re fuel
Was a great trip, beautiful beaches and met some very nice locals
The camping was great, had some lovely spots and in the main brilliant weather- just a bit of sea fog early in the morning on some days
On the last night I suggested parking the car in front of the tent to deflect the gales but my girlfriend put her foot down and we got a b&b. Quite right too.
Anyway hope the photos are of interest
Cheers*

Beautiful pictures. If you get the weather, the Hebrides are a boating paradise.

Looks lovely... When I read your first post and looked at the Map I thought you would be in a 6.5 m rib..... But no it was a T38... Very bold and stunning pictures

Thanks guys it is a braw place when the sun is out !
Smallribber it is actually the t40 not the t38, so quite a bit bigger and heavier, not sure i would fancy it in a t38, it would be a bit of a squeeze with all our camping stuff !
Cheers

What size outboard cant quite see from the pics. I think the T38 would be ok but the main issue is the water slopps about in the floor.

Yep stunning images, thanks for posting. I was straining my eyes for The Gurnard flashing past in the distance in his SIBRIB.

Hmmmm....
Some very emotive photos there duggie12 - adventurous travels and inspiring pitches. One thought prevails:
That woman is a Keeper.
Just sayin' is all.....

It is a 20hp, plenty power for the honwave, no scary moments really to be honest, it wasn't that rough at any point.
Not got a clue what a sibrib is fenlander!
Yes willk she definitely is - for many reasons!

SibRib is a joke in The Gurnards direction... He always had Sibs but has now bought a Rib but posted it in the Sib Section..... Rib it may be but he uses it much like his Sib
