Açores - new SIB

Hello,

change my SIB,, same size, but bigger volume, bigger tubes, aluminium floor, and the cerise, a Suzuki 15 hp short.

the reason was that the family is growing in size and weight, and the love for the Suzuki :P

so in the end of summer, sold my little JOMA, and bought the Açores...

you can see that I maintain the same brand in the SIB, the Ocean Bay boats from acessorionautico, are very good SIBS, the pvc is from Germany, the design from Italy, and the construction from where all are made, China. change from wood floor to aluminium, the diference is 7 kg for al.

change the motor for one Suzuki, have great expectations, it weight 44 kg minus two that my 8hp Honda, and have two times the power.

also maintain the wheels, they are great and do the job.

some pictures, and soon as I go to the sea, will report on this great forum, for me its a Bible.

Hope you enjoy the new outfit... do report on how you find the new Suzuki once it's been on the water. I'm really liking my near identical 20hp version.

Hello, Hello,

Happy knew Year to everybody...

so as promise, here I go... the last two days of the 2016 were here perfect for the sibing thing, so me and family went on a two afternoon roll party with "açores".

https://youtu.be/-6j43a9NtMY

well, for us that use to have similar sib with an Honda 8hp, with 15 EFI hp, man, we only ear a Whistle, and we find that we were over the tini shopshop of the sea.

https://youtu.be/9rIrnjmRNJY

it was a fantastic end of the year for us, and very happy with the change for this combo.

regardless, have an concern, at full throttle, it activates the rev limiter, we just decrease a tiny bit and insted of 33 kmh, stay on the 30.

things to change, the trim put in the first hole, and test.
also have a problem with the tach, it does not make steedy readings of rpm, stops, at 3000... need help.

cheers....
