A wee trip to bonnie Scotland

I launched at loch Lomond on a calm day £20 fee and it was lovely. I also stayed at Oban on the west coast, free slipway and £10/ night on the pontoons. Lovely town. Maximum 3 nights in marina . I did loch Etieve and loch Linnhe. I also did the non tidal Loch Awe ( longer than loch Lomond and loch Ness, (£10 fee to use the slipway at Loch awe). Lovely scenery and well worth the drive. A bit colder than down south but I just missed miggie season. Treat the non tidal Lochs with as much respect as the tidal ones in terms of wind speed. Beware of whitewater falls on Etieve at the bridge on spring tides. A trip to Scotland is a great adventure for sibbers
