Now and again folks ask about this brand but there's not loads of info available. As far as I'm aware they are a quality SIB with Hypalon fabric so should last far longer than a PVC boat.

I can't see an SJ model but does this brochure scan help at all??

Yes have seen that, an inflatable With 75 hp , boat I have is old it's either late eighties or early nineties by the look and to be fair the condition is excellent for age, no seam lift the only thing is the sides have some uv ageing

Managed to try it out today, Totnes on the Dart for an hour or so, spot on, tried fitting 15 hp mariner but tilt lock was playing up so opted for Tohatsu 3.5 hp instead for an easier time and not grounding engine when pushing boat off trailer, was surprisingly quick 2 up, think it will plane just one up with 3.5, good to be back on water Click image for larger version

Lovely part of the world and great photos, keep an eye out for floating debris on that stretch. Have seen a few branches etc that make there way into the river. Ideal set up for the Dart 👍

Always do when on the rivers as it sometimes looks like a twig and then you realise the rest of the tree is attached and submerged, hit a big one in the hard boat a couple of years ago, luckily wasn't going to fast and didn't do any damage

Achilles SJ-110 ('87?)

Hello:
I found the post - I know it's a bit late, but I just bought the same model SJ-110 myself. It included a catalogue from the '80, so I will just post some pics with full specifications, hope it's helpful.
best regards,
F
