Adventures on my SIB

Here is a selection of some of my adventures I have done on my SIB.

The boat is a 3.6 meter Boat World SIB with hard floor. The boat works well, but at full speed the joins in the floor flex in a slightly alarming way.

The engine is a 15HP 2 stroke marina. The engine is pretty temperamental.

I got the boat an engine for £1200, and over the one and a half years I have had it I have spend around £250 on repairs.

I got the boat mainly for exploring abandoned places.

Here is a selection of my adventures.....

Solent sea forts. There are two closed down hotels, and one fully abandoned one.

Abandoned boat hotel

Kingsnorth Power Station Coal Cranes

Herne bay wind farm located 5 miles from the coast

Does anyone here have any suggestions of places that I could visit. Places I am interested in include....
Structures out at sea or in the middle of rivers
Sea forts in the sea or on remote islands
Abandoned large ships (where the interior still is in reasonable condition)

Hi Ben, really good videos. Not usually my kind of thing, but found them really interesting. Sorry that I can't suggest anywhere for you to visit.
Just one question, legalities about landing on a wind turbine?

....and all the other places you have gone using so called "Civil trepass" ?

It is strange that a lot of the places you go to dont have security, and some would say its the owners own fault if you gain entry.

Given we never see you or crew doing any damage or harm to these places you go to is commendable, but do you really think this is advisable dispalying videos online on youtube? Especially when you end up using powered machinery such as industrial lifts etc as in some of your videos.

Not everyone will be so trustworthy and by now these places will probably have been ransacked and trashed. Well done mate.

Probably going to be an unpopular opinion but you’re basically no better than a criminal.

And it’s one thing sneaking into these places and leaving no trace but posting it on YouTube for everyone to see? I bet that hotel gets trashed before long.

Put some life jackets on too

I wouldn’t word as strong but he has left himself wide open if any law has been broken providing all the evidence needed for prosecution.

Maybe HM Prison Barlinnie or Perhaps Peterhead Prison.

I'm sure some of the inmates there would love you......and they aren't adverse to a bit cival trespass, forced or illegally entry or just invading peoples personal property and much worse........although I wouldn't guarantee they would leave no trace.......and I don't think a life jacket would the protection you would need.
