My view is that an anchor is an essential bit of kit and make sure you get the right anchor for where you are going to use your boat
If you get engine problems or any other dramas the first thing to do is to drop the anchor and this will stop you drifting onto any rocks or other dangers
I know it is not the same as the sea so no strong tidal flow to worry about but if the wind gets up you will have no control of the boat

The Transom wheels you need I ordered from Seamark Nunn.
They were about £100, specifically designed for the Honwave 3.8

AndyJC has posted pictures on here of them - I'm sure you can search for them.
