Hi AndiD, is your Sib fitted with a prv? Is it in the bow?

Assuming that's a Pressure Relief Valve, no. It's a 1999 and I didn't see any PRV on it

Sorry Andi, I'd forgotten you had already said "an old Zodiac"

End of season for me - Short update regarding gluing the floor with HH66: I used the boat the entire summer in mountain lakes. I would say 40-50 times over 3 months (yes, I went almost daily!). The boat was deflated and lightly folded after each outing. Carried folded on trailer hitch carrier to and from the lake. The HH66 on the floor is holding perfectly so far. No seam coming undone, no leak anywhere. I am pretty hopeful I made the right decision (and possibly the correct execution and prep).

Great result, thanks for reporting back. Probably the most used SIB on here.

Good to hear that it's so used. I love it. A little too small on the inside when I am with my wife. When I'm by myself, the space is just perfect.
So I was looking for a second boat for Florida, and eventually decided on the Saturn ZK430G. It's a wide Kaboat or a narrow SIB. It's 4in narrower than the Zodiac inside, but 10ft long inside, vs the Zodiac 7.5 ft. All Saturns have welded seams now, so I hope it'll work. For $1000 I couldn't find another used Zodiac that would also be larger...
